Loam – Ride Conditions  ·  Last updated June 2026

Loam is built to answer one question: are the trails rideable right now? This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is used.

What we collect

What we do not collect

Loam does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any payment information. We do not track your location history or build a profile of where you ride.

Third-party services

Notifications

If you enable alerts, your device push token and a list of the trail networks you choose to watch are stored on our backend. This information is used only to send the alerts you requested. You can remove a network from your watch list at any time in the Alerts tab. Uninstalling the app stops all future notifications.

Data retention

Push tokens and watched network preferences are retained until you remove them via the Alerts tab or uninstall the app. Location data is never stored beyond your current session.

Children

Loam is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
